The kettle features a cool-touch trigger whistle with a durable single-tone whistle. The black phenolic stay-cool handle and knob stay cool to the touch when boiling water, and fits comfortably in the hand for easy pouring. It has a wide opening lid for easy cleaning and filling, and a smooth, flat base for maximum contact and rapid boiling. Chantal's enamel-on-steel teakettles are made with magnetic carbon steel which means they will work on all cooktops, INCLUDING magnetic induction. 1.8 qt. usable capacity.
