Evans Colson Commander Vintage 1950's Complete Bicycle VG. Condition. Condition is "Used". Vintage bicycle in very nice condition. Details: No visible rust anywhere, has been totally reconditioned / refurbished  all bearing  cleaned checked, freshly greased & adjusted - bottom bracket(BB) head set, wheel hubs front & rear by professional bike mechanic. Although paint looks new it was professionally painted years ago & still retains a shinny finish , a testament to good work and care taking. Nice hand brushed pin striping tastefully done  Paint has some minor scratches barely noticeable here and there, no obvious dents, barely noticeable age related metal imperfections, a few tiny chips all touched up  Please keep in mind bike is around 63-65 years old. Chrome crank arms are still shiny but show some signs wear & normal aging no means perfect, chain ring, shiny but chrome shows some signs of wear & not perfect
please see pictures of stem there is a small scrape on the top of Chrome and wear on the sides of stem still very good looking overall but could be easily be replaced. Wheels and tires New Duro 26 x 2.125 tires and slime inner tubes and Kenda rim strips Brown/Cream New Wheel Master rear wheel  with KT/Hi Stop #305 coaster brake 12G SS Spokes, NOS Wald front hub marked Germany laced to the original drop down rim 14G SS spokes German Union rubber pedals, Wald 867 handlebars, working original bell and new horn in tank. Nice torpedo grips, vintage mirror, original Fort Hays 1957-58 bicycle license plate, reconditioned ladies seat new padding and marine  vinyl leather faux material, led retro light
Geared to 2.09 :1 for easy pedaling up inclines, 15-20mph head winds and initial start ups / take offs
Nice cruiser GM engineer designer  Harley Earl inspired truss rod design simple and effective truss rods( painted chrome silver).( see pic's)
Please ask questions these bikes were made only 6 years as Evans Colson , " 60-62" Colson was  dropped from company badge bikes sold as Evans     Unisex/ coed - I ride comfortably at 5'7.5in. Frame size 17 in.  Center of BB to top of seat 21 in.
