Note that while the box here containing the above set of 5 is clearly new and sealed, it has a shelf-worn corner, so we are selling this set as "Open Box" because while the box isn't actually opened on that other lot, the cosmetic damage to the box on that other lot precludes us (in our opinion) from calling that other listing to be simply "New".  eBay used to have a category called "New (Other)" and allowed the seller to explain in a text box why the seller's item isn't simply "New", but under eBay's new condition classification system we felt compelled to not use "New", so we're calling this "Open Box" -- not because it's exactly accurate, but because it was the next lower condition category to simply "new" that ebay authorizes to be used in a listing for items such as featured here.
We have, just before this listing will show up on eBay, listed the exact same set but without a damaged corner on the sealed box.
We listed this set for more than for the one without the damaged corner this one has, because we are, in addition to the sealed set of 5 brushes, also providing a Bonus with this set:  2 "loose" but never used brushes, of the same brand and appearance of the sealed box set being sold here, that each match a corresponding size brush inside that sealed box:  1" wide and 1.5" wide.  And because there are 2 more brushes in this lot than the total number of brushes in that other lot, the weight as shipped will be over a pound, which means we have to ship via Priority Mail rather than First Class.  But the good news is that if you buy this lot and that other one, and wait for us to invoice you for both, you'll get free Priority Mail shipping for BOTH lots.  Be sure to let us invoice you if you do buy both, so that we can tailor the invoice to provide free Priority Mail shipping for both lots (as long as both are to be shipped together at the same time to a single address).
If you look at that other listing you'll see those 2 "bonus brushes" included here, but in that other listing they serve only as "photo models" and are not actually part of what the buyer will get in buying that other listing.  We used them there as "photo models" since each one matches a brush inside the sealed box being sold there, but in that other listing we
placed a pair of red "twister ties" on top of the 2 brushes to show up in each photo of those bonus brushes in that other listing, to form an "X", meaning "These are not included with this lot", because eBay doesn't allow sellers to add text or graphics to listing photos (even though many sellers seem to do it all the time!).  But there's nothing in the eBay rules that forbid me from adding a pair of twister ties on top of items to be photographed, just to make it more clear that those 2 brushes aren't included with what is being sold via that other listing.  Of course, when you see those same 2 brushes in this listing, there won't be any red twister ties to be seen, because in THIS listing, those 2 "loose" brushes ARE included.
RETURNS IN GENERAL

Please be sure to save all shipping and packing materials (box, padding, etc.) for the length of the potential return period, in the event a return is to take place.  If you have any questions at all about the condition of the materials, however, please contact us first to confirm that we would authorize you to re-use those materials in returning an item to us, since sometimes those materials get chewed up enough during initial delivery that they need to be repaired or replaced before being re-used.
NO-FAULT RETURNS
:  30 calendar day return time, running from date of first attempt at delivery by the chosen shipper to your ebay verified shipping address, if you return these for any or no reason in the same condition as sent, at your expense.  However, once you open the package, we can no longer sell this item as "New" even if you sent it back to us and that would virtually destroy its value, so we can't accept a return unless the Ebay Guarantee applies (see next item). .

Ebay lets you return almost anything within 30 days after receiving it, if what was purchased is not what the listing represented it to be, no matter what limitations a seller may try to put on the reasons for return (and many do).  Please see exact details as provided by eBay at the top of this listing.  To the extent that ebay allows it, you must use a shipping class and type that costs no more than what we used to ship your item(s) to you.

Our commitment on this sale is to get your item(s) to the shipper within one business day after payment is completed.  And if a buyer is able to get payment completed by 11am California time on a non-holiday weekday (Mondays through Fridays), we are often able to ship the same day as paid.  We may ship the same day as paid even if paid later, but the later in the day payment is made, the less likely same day shipment can take place.  Depending on circumstances at this end and what shipment method applies, we may even be able to do "same day as paid" shipping on a Saturday, though our local USPS (often, but not always, the method and location of where and how we ship) closes at 4pm Saturdays (vs. 5pm on weekday business days).
Since only one person here takes care of shipping (and just about anything else), we can't literally promise in advance to achieve same-day-as-paid shipping, since things can always "come up" to prevent that for a smaller operator like us.  We do, however, ship the same day as paid when we can, especially when it comes to relatively small size shipping packages, and our feedback shows that our customers appreciate the extra effort.
Note that the new Postmaster of the US, appointed June 2020, is committed to running the USPS more as a "business" than as a "service" and debates are now going on as to whether new approaches he has already put in place will slow down mail delivery, how soon and how often "tracking results" are posted on ebay and on the USPS web site, etc.
Combined with the current health care crisis, we are all operating in uncertain times, which may also affect other delivery services (carriers) as well, so please "don't shoot the messenger":  As long as we hand off your purchase to a shipper as quickly as we've committed ourselves to do, please don't "ding" us with a lower rating for what may happen afterwards due to things beyond our control -- and also remember that if you opt for "free shipping", that often means we'll choose the cheapest delivery service that meets the delivery standards set by ebay for the kind of shipping commitment we made in a listing.  Thank you for your understanding!

B.  For all buyers:  On January 3, 2019, we received the following message from ebay about sales tax collection:

In such cases, eBay calculates, collects, and remits Internet Sales Tax for orders shipped to customers on your behalf. After we collect state Internet Sales Tax, you do not need to take any action. We aren't 'tax experts', but what we think the above basically means is that if you buy something on ebay that you would have had to pay sales tax on, if you'd bought it instead from a local store like a Best B
uy
store, etc., in your state, ebay might now add your state's sales tax to your purchase price. eBay would then send that tax money, that was part of the total that ebay had you pay, to your state.
We never see that money, so can't "refund" it. Even if you told us before you purchased the item, and sent us documentation to prove such exempt status, we as the seller have no way to stop eBay from adding state sales tax to what you bought. And even if you sent us documentation before or after the purchase, as some sellers have done with us in the past, and asked us either to refund the amount of tax paid, or if not yet paid, ask us to custom create an invoice that does not charge tax, our experience is that eBay will add tax anyway.
Some states may provide a way on your tax return forms to request a sales tax refund.
